The Role: This Restaurant Manager oversees, directs and coordinates the restaurant and the team to achieve company mission, objectives in sales, costs, employee retention, guest service, and food quality.

What You Will Bring to the Table:

Ensure that restaurant service runs smoothly and that the staff is working efficiently and effectively
Facilitate communication between service staff and kitchen to ensure seamless operation
Identify and engage with regulars and VIP guests to make them feel a part of the family
Lead the service team and ensure LDV's steps of service and hospitality standards are followed
Be a critical and creative thinker to resolve guest incidents or complaints to improve their experience. (i.e. service issues, spills, check disputes, etc.)
Ensure all service staff are consistently performing top quality service
Be fully conversant with every aspect of the company's emergency and health and safety procedures
Follow and ensure compliance of all standards set forth by the Board of Health
Practice highest regards for safety within all areas and with all materials

Job Requirements:

1-2 years in fine-dining establishment with sales volume in excess of $10 million/year
High School Diploma or GED
Bachelor's Degree in Business or Hospitality Management is preferred, but not required

Micros and SevenRooms knowledge a plus
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds often
Ability to sit, stand, and bend for extended periods of time
