Description
General
Provide support, direction and expertise to AVP, BD, VP (HQ) and GM, focusing not only on leased, managed and franchised future opportunities but also in current operating hotels.
Responsible for the compliance and fulfillment of RHG design guidelines in all new managed and franchised new openings. Look and feel execution control and reporting.
Manage Engineer Area Director for Engineering Pre-Opening activities / Testing and Commissioning / Handover process, for the different project’s types i.e. new build, conversions, equity and renovations.
Lead the projects and construction monitoring control processes (Planning, budget control, implementation and reporting).
Projects and Construction Services
New openings projects look and feel execution control and reporting to HQ to confirm fulfillment with current design guidelines.
Business development initiative control and executive reporting. Global budget control and approval.
Repositioning and new openings management control and coordination to comply with architectural and design guidelines, products, standards and procedures on BD projects following needs from central offices.
Feasibility report, refurbishments scope of works reviews according to BP for Repositioning and New Openings providing support to Assets and BD for negotiation proposals within current and new hotels.
Main Responsibilities on Pipeline Projects
Keep knowledge and control on all pipeline projects in preparation for handover to Operations. Look and Feel design guidelines guardian.
Project management, execution control, delivery, providing technical support to negotiations to BD.
Operational Properties
Provide direction and expertise to AVP and Engineer Director, to establish and manage an efficient department, to provide R&M and PPM programs, Dept budget management and Resource Management.
Actively interact with HQ and ASO procurement for opportunities for projects and hotel operations.
Lead the hotel investment planning (projects, construction, maintenance and energy efficiency capex initiatives), offering building (FLS & MEP) input, P&L/budget considerations and value engineering, utilizing the Condition Surveys.
Others
Maintain reporting and filing formats at Area office (AVP) and Central Office (HQ): Project Milestones Documents as relevant, regular reporting to VP (HQ) PCTS and Business Development & Assets PCTS Director at HQ.
Advice GMs and Engineering Director with appointment recruitment/resourcing and development for Hotel Engineering employees i.e. Development Dialogue, MIC's, training, plans
Input into development structured systems e.g. SOP's best practices, Consultants/Suppliers database, notional development costs (build & MEP), new technologies etc. for the Group and Area.

Roles/Responsibilities
1. Maintain reporting and filing formats at Area office for projects and initiatives as well as regular reporting to VP (HQ) PCTS and Business Development & Assets PCTS Director at HQ complying with all Guidelines, products, standards and procedures application on all projects.
2. Support AVP and Engineering Director to establish and manage an efficient and effective operation by continuous monitoring and mentoring in R&M, P&L, KPI reviews.
3. Drive and support the all project initiatives, to achieve ASO and Hotel targets.
4. Lead the maintenance and energy efficiency LRIP/CAPEX (planning, implementation, financial reporting) Support ADTS on repositioning LRIP/Capex projects, with Engineering expertise, procurement synergies and value engineering.
5. Support pipeline delivery by providing expertise and professional Technical Services to the AVP, GMs and others as relevant, primary in the Pre-Opening Phase.

Mandatory job requirements and qualifications:
- Academic qualifications, architectural or technical degree.
- Extensive hotel experience, 5-10 years, within HVAC, electrical/mechanical area.
- Excellent written and spoken English and Russian are essential.
