The Role!
As Director of Operations Engineering, is to lead the Ops Services team to produce quality tools and systems that are easy to grasp to all Restaurants (ZK and CAVA).

You will lead all operational systems (food and labor management), implementation of all company initiatives, testing and gathering feedback from Operations and work closely with the Learning and Development team to deliver quality training to Team Members.

Responsibilities:

• Extensive knowledge of restaurant operations including food safety, training and development, risk mitigation, analyzing P&L statements, labor management, inventory management, and facilities (minimum of three years leadership)
• Excellent leadership and people development skills – A proven track record of the ability to lead and develop a team
• Process/Project management skills experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work independently with tight deadlines
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
• Strong proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe Creative Suite, and data manipulation
• Experience with writing, editing and proofing documents
• Ability to lead communications to all levels in the organization (Team Members to Executive team) through writing, video, PowerPoint
• A passion for food and people
• Ability to travel 30% of the time
• Is innovative – always finding new and creative ways to improve
