Description
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Linen Porter to join the Housekeeping department.

The Rubens at the Palace Hotel, part of the Red Carnation Hotel Collection, is a stunning five star property located in the heart of London’s Victoria and within walking distance of Buckingham Palace. This wonderful hotel has been fully refurbished and features 161 individually designed bedrooms and suites, as well as a range of Food and Beverage outlets including The English Grill Restaurant, The Curry Room Restaurant, The New York Bar, The Palace Lounge and Champagne Bar, as well as 9 well equipped function rooms.

Key responsibilities for the Linen Porter will include:

• Dealing with clean and dirty linen
• Dealing with guest laundry
• Pressing guest laundry
• Carrying out any reasonable tasks and answering pager messages
• Keeping the linen room organised and tidy and cupboards well stocked

The ideal candidate for the Linen Porter position will:

• Enjoy working within a friendly and productive team
• Have excellent communication skills
• Want to work in a high standard hotel
• Have excellent attention to detail
• Be flexible and willing to learn
