Position Summary

Concert Attendants are responsible for delivering consistently exceptional hospitality and guest experiences to patrons of City Winery. Concert Attendants handle tasks and responsibilities associated with concerts including but not limited to set up and breakdown, concessions work, handling transactions and supporting overall guest service needs from beginning to end.



Minimum Qualifications

  • 1+ years’ experience in a guest-facing role at a fast-paced, high-volume service environment and/or equivalent relevant experience

  • Strong work ethic, team player, and exceptional guest service skills  

  • Ability to consistently deliver high-quality guest experiences, exceed guest expectations, and strive to create a memorable experience at every City Winery visit  

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build positive relationships with coworkers and guests.

  • Aptitude to resolve problems 

  • Ability to execute professional guest service experience

  • Ability to handle all guests with composure and hospitality 

  • Polished presentation

  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment

  • Must be fluently literate in English including ability to read, write, communicate, conduct basic business related mathematics, and able to accurately function a POS 

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays

  • Ability to perform physical requirements of the role including standing/walking for entirety of shift, bending, pulling, pushing, using stairs, lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds 




Overview of Responsibilities


  • Provide positive guest experience including greeting, conversing with, and thanking departing guests

  • Greet guests and check ticket list upon entry to the venue, answer guest questions, assist guests with locating their seats and examines tickets for entry to various seat levels around the venue during the event.

  • Complete company Wellness Checks and Temperature Checks to ensure COVID safety measures are in place

  • Assist with answering any guest questions and assisting with their initial entry into the concert

  • Interact with guests, take orders, serve food and beverage, handle transactions, and support overall guest service needs from beginning to end 

  • Handle payment transactions and maintain accurate cash drawer 

  • Adhere to and abide by cash handling procedures as per Company standards 

  • Follow all health and safety regulations, including enforcing laws and ordinances in the handling and provision of alcoholic beverages.

  • Maintains a clean, neat and well-groomed appearance.

  • Maintain cleanliness and safety of all work areas including but not limited to side stations, floor, shelves, storage areas 

  • Attend trainings, tastings, meetings, as needed

  • Maintain a knowledge of City Winery brand, history, culture, and programming, both in venue and restaurant

  • Maintain menu knowledge, including ingredients, preparation methods, and allergen

  • information and communicate this information tableside to guests

  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and guidelines including being ready to work at scheduled shift time, in uniform, with neat and presentable appearance.

  • Perform all other reasonably assigned duties.


General Concert Maintenance

  • Assist with keeping the venue safe, clean and presentable to the guest

  • Assist with lawn maintenance and ensuring trash receptacles are empty as needed

  • Assist with restroom maintenance and ensure all are stocked throughout the event and remain clean for all guests

  • Assist with set up and breakdown of all areas


Retail/Merchandise/Artist Merch

  • Maintain accurate cash handling while processing purchases with the POS (Toast)

  • Prepare your tent display before the event begins so that guests can view all merchandise for sale

  • Inventory- all items must be physically counted prior to the start of the event and again at the end of the show

  • Assist guests with their purchases by sharing merchandise information such as pricing and sizing

  • Maintain your tent throughout the duration of the event

  • Assist with chair rental distribution and collection


Concessions

  • Assist with distributing pre-sold F&B packages to guests

  • Setup and maintain food tent prior to event

  • Maintain accurate cash handling while processing purchases with the POS (Toast)

  • Consistent keep tent stocked and communicate any supply needs to the MOD
