Description
The Front Office department is looking for an enthusiastic Switchboard Operator to provide guests with outstanding service in this stunning hotel. As a switchboard operator you will be the first point of contact for our guests, answering and redirecting calls, and dealing with queries in a proactive and timely manner.
The Milestone Hotel and Residences, part of the Red Carnation Hotel Collection, is a beautiful five star hotel located opposite Kensington Palace Gardens and close to The Royal Albert Hall. Part of Leading Hotels of the World, this property has 44 individually designed bedrooms, 12 luxury suites and 6 long-stay apartments, a classic lounge area for Afternoon Tea, Cheneston’s Restaurant (2 Rosettes) and unique Stables Bar. Key responsibilities of the Switchboard Operator will include:
• Answering and forwarding calls in an efficient manner in accordance with the company standards
• Assisting with daily administrative tasks
• Having a thorough knowledge of the hotel products and services
The ideal candidate for the Switchboard Operator position should:
• Have previous experience in a 4/5 star hotel or similar environment
• Command a strong level of both written and spoken English
• Be a good communicator
• Be computer literate
• Display a polite and professional attitude at all times
• Be confident over the phone
• Be enthusiastic in delivering excellent customer service
• Be passionate and willing to learn
