The Lead Host is key part of creating exceptional experiences for our guests. This position is accountable for the overall seating strategy for the restaurant and for maintaining smooth guest greeting and seating operations. A warm, prompt, and excellent welcome sets the tone for an exceptional guest experience. The Lead Host must be in-the-know about all seating decisions and drive the guest experience regarding reservations, walk-ins, and moving parties to a different table. The Lead Host sets an example for all other Hosts of what exceptional guest experiences look like.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver a consistently high level of customer service to each guest and client

  • Coordinates and strategizes seating and dining room flow

  • Answering calls and questions from guests and from the other hosts

  • Aware and attentive to guests and their special occasions, food restrictions and special accommodations

  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with health and safety guidelines

  • Proactive and anticipate the needs of coworkers around them that may need

  • Ensuring that side stations are prepped as needed for business demand

  • Build rapport with guests in order to increase repeat clientele

  • Ability to work mornings to do administrative work

Qualifications

  • Exhibit strong multitasking abilities

  • Posses a diligent work ethic

  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance

  • Experience in customer service facing roles

  • Available to work nights, weekends and holidays.

  • Must be able to stand for the duration of shifts and lift up to 25 lbs
